Numbers...the Pumpkin Way

So, I came across a cute apple activity from Denise...after Johnny Appleseed...BUT, no worries...I'm adaptable! HA!  I'm going to turn it into a pumpkin! I'll have some requirements that are a review of what my students have learned so far this year.... The number goes on the stem, then they have to have
a) word form
b) extended form
c) tallies
d) one subtraction problem
e) a doubles, or doubles plus one (if it's odd)
f) ten frames

I'll have them pull a number out of a bucket, and then they do the pumpkin in pencil...once they have it completed in pencil, and I check it, then they'll cut it up (I'll have pre-drawn the lines on the pumpkin for them to cut on) and put it in a pile with their group. Then, together they need to work together to put the puzzles back together.
I'm not quite sure how I'll work this, but for my higher students, I am going to have them do a 3 digit number. But the tallies and ten frames options won't work. So I may have them show me in place value blocks...and maybe just one more addition fact. We will see how it works out!

This could totally be changed for factors...for instance, all the ways you could make 24...8x3, 6x4, and the division facts with it. Can you think of any other ways?? Let me know what you do!

what a fun idea and can do it for so many themes. I was thinking maybe have the parts already listed and they have to find the ones that match their numbers.
thank you!
