Holy Foldables!

Over at a Teacher's Treasure, she just posted a MASSIVE amount of ideas on using foldables! We use foldables ALL THE TIME in my class...we just used the shutter book to show the life cycle of an Apple Tree during the seasons in our "Fall Week." (I'll have to get that week posted, but here is a picture of that at least).

And we've recently started our parts of a plant flip book that I already posted about....

And we do flip books all the time for Sequencing (First, next, then, finally) and we also did one recently for the short vowel sounds...each flap had a vowel on it and underneath they had to right all the short vowels for those words they found while reading.

Here's a link that'll take you a page that give you directions on a few different foldables.

Here are a few pictures from her blog to give some cute examples!

This one is just too cute!!!

I love foldables, but often forget about using them.
Thanks for the reminder.

Yes, we learn SO many different things to use, it's hard to keep a mental filing cabinet of all the tricks to our trade :)
