Foldables Week - LA!

It's Language Arts Tuesday! Today, I'll show you just a few foldables we've done this year that work with reading and grammar.

These first few are examples of the accordian book, which works GREAT for sequencing!

This was sequencing of Stellaluna during our Bat Week
This was sequencing from our Halloween Day using Harriet's Halloween Candy, using Made For First's unit she made.

This next one we used as like a K-W-L when we were learning about bats...the top flap was the question, and at the end of the week, they wrote their answers to their questions.
P.S....it might be a little helpful to take a look at their Qs so you can steer your teaching...as we found out that we missed some of their questions., and had to quickly make up for that! ha!

And we also use them for our grammar and phonics lessons....here's an example of using possessive nouns...

And I've also done the flap book with the cvcE words....Put the letter on top for the long vowel sound (like an A for long A), and then underneath, they would write words that we were studying or that they find in our Reader's Workshop....sorry, I don't have any pictures of those, that was before I started blogging :-/
