Dr. Seuss Centers

Ok y'all...they are almost finished!!!

this is not the final look of it - work still in progress..but do you like the background paper I made?? hehe

This is turning out to be a huge unit..lol! And I'm not even finished with it!

So far, I have

Literacy Centers
~Nonsense Words going from cvc all the way up the continuum - something for everyone! You can mix them up if your kids are higher on the continuum,or I made 2 sheets of cvc if that is where you are with your kids
~Syllables - 1, 2, and 3 syllable words
~Rhyming...OF COURSE! lol
~Antonyms
~Inferring
~ Compare/Contrast with two different options, plus a writing extension...AND you can use the Venn Diagram or the Double Bubble

Math Centers
~Graphing - with the option of having a key where each picture = 2 or just 1, plus a writing extension
~Time to the hour and half hour
~Measurement - inches
~Patterns (+/- 1, 10, and 100)
~2-digit addition with and without regrouping
~greater than/less than with 3-digit numbers

I really want to add in a sentence scramble activity (I REALLY like doing those-lol), but I might just do that as a separate thing...that way it'll keep the centers even...lol...remember, I'm OCD - even is good. And I wanted to do some Fry Phrases too...whew! I just LOVE Dr. Seuss...so a lot of these I can use throughout the year.

I'm pretty much finished...I'm just waiting on some clip art! lol!!
I found a great teacher/clip art creator over The3AMTeacher....you should go check  her out!! She takes requests and she just did some math clip art for Rebecca, and there is some on her blog you can snag for free :) I used some of them in my math centers already. So cute! I was going to have the hubs make some for me, but he's so slow at it - between trying to do it at work on his down time (wait...what's that?! They don't even get that at night.) and then he has to come home and help me tend to kiddos - well, more Autumn than Brooklynn..lol.

As soon as I get my clip art, I'll be finished...hopefully it'll be up in the next day or two!

Since it's like NINETY pages...that's 9-0..(Holy Cannoli!! How did THAT happen??)...I'll probably be listing it for more than my other centers. But I'm still going to break it into a math set and a literacy set for those who just want one or the other.

I'm so excited to finish it and show y'all!! :)

Hope y'all had a MARVelous Monday!

Wow!!! Looks amazing!
I gotta ask... how did you make that background? I'd love to make my own for my units but don't know how. Would you mind sharing any tips?
