Bats overload!

PICTURE OVERLOAD!!!

ha!

Just wanted to update you on all that we've been doing...

we've been working pretty hard through my  All About Bats unit...

we did a class comparison...

then I had them do one on their own....

And we've been working with Stellaluna a lot too -

My friend Emily posted about her October quilt - LOVED it! So I had to get the book and do it!

Some of my little angels didn't have the papers turned the right way - lol

under the tree, they wrote about how they are similar and different with their friend.

And we've been labeling and practicing our caption writing..

Doing the sequencing activity for Stellaluna that's in my pack...

and turning it into a foldable...

And for math??

Last year, I found Jodi's mosquito activity and LOVED it...

this year, I added some more math to it.

We talked about groups of and practiced counting by...

take a look-see -

this would be 6 groups of 3...or counting by 3s 6 times...

Then they had fun gluing them on the plates...

Also - the bat writings?? Those are something I found last year too...but they didn't put their name on it, so I don't know who I got it from to send you to get it...
but they wrote a review for a book that they read today.

AND...these are their spider books that come from my Spider unit...

Wanna see more about what I've done with bats from this year AND last year??
