Tell me more linky!

Amy Lemon's Linky!

Yep - it's my turn now!

Some things about me....

(bare with me - I'm TOTALLY a visual person, so there are LOTS of pictures for you

1.  Hubs and I "eloped"  - we got married in Jamaica.

It wasn't really eloping since it was planned and everyone knew it.

I just didn't want to plan or spend all that time and money on a wedding - lol.

and right after we were married, we changed clothes and went to the beach! ha!

2. Hubs is a firefighter.

Yeah - I know - everyone's "dream" hehe

and while I DO love a man in uniform,

when THIS is going on, I worry - thankfully, I don't normally know about it until AFTER the fact.

3. I bought my first house when I was 21 years old.  We FINALLY sold it and then we bought OUR first house last year...

4.  I LOVE to travel!!!

I've been to Europe, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Mexico, Haiti, all over the U.S (Except the mid-west lol), Bahamas

My mom and I on a gondola in Venice ........ on my 18th birthday!!!

I lived in Mexico for a few months as a study abroad program

skiing in Colorado - I think I was actually 3-4 months prego with A here....

hmmm.....wonder where this is?? lol

this was in New York, we just HAPPENED to go to a comedy club that night and Richard Belzer was performing and the ENTIRE cast of Law & Order SVU was there that night!! you see Ice T??? And this is why I'm addicted to the show!

We go to NY a lot...but we haven't been since B has been born - but I bet soon though :)

5. I have been in about 5 or 6 car accidents in my life - which is why I have so many problems with my neck and back....

these are the ones I've been in as an adult...

Neither one were my fault and I survived both (PTL!), but the bottom one is the one that did the most damage to my neck (drunk driver passed out at the wheel - why I'm SO dead against drinking and driving) - but I have found the only thing that makes it feel better is working out and exercising, so I do :)

6.  I LOVE to do anything that is "scary" - it makes life EXCITING!!

yes, that's me!!! and I'm going again on Friday!!

7. I'm SURE you know this, but just in case you didn't..... I LOVE the beach!!

(me and B)

I mean, LOOK! In the midst of rain, the beach is STILL such a place to see all of God's wonders!

8. I love to run!
Haven't done a 5k in a while, but I'm planning on getting back on track soon!

9. My girls are my world!!!

LOVE them!!

(LOVE this pic! This is A when she was born - can you see the tear running down my face??? )

A loving on her newborn sister....and this is how it still is....

B at one month.....

haha!! I just love A's sense of style!!

10.  I LOVE to bake and cook!!

even at a young age I was in the kitchen helping my momma!

11.  Though I am Lebanese (middle eastern) and somewhat American Indian (it's part of my mutt-mix), I am STILL a natural blonde..

ALTHOUGH, I used to dye my hair EVERY color under the sun...I REALLY like me as a DARK brunette too!

Unfortunately, my hair doesn't hold color very well - this basically came out within like a few weeks :(
When hubs met me, I was auburn, and I've been dark brown, brown with pink streaks, and of course, blonde.

I used to go dark in the fall/winter and go back blonde for spring/summer...

I always like to go up north in the fall to see the different colors of fall, and hubs once told me,

"You know, we don't need to go up to NH or VT to watch the leaves change colors. We can just stay home and watch your hair change colors! haha!"

Well, that's me, kind of, in a nutshell.

There are tons of little quirky things about me, but I just can't think of them right

Nice to meet you!

I love all of your pictures! I keep contemplating going skydiving again. I was really tempted when there was Groupon a few weeks ago. I've only been once, but I'm determined to go again :)

This has been the most fun linky party. I guess I'm going to have to link up. I'm jealous you eloped to Jamaica. I wanted to elope and get married on the beach. But we had a small wedding this summer at a b and b and then a honeymoon to Hawaii. The honeymoon was a complete surprise. I thought we were going to the Keys. Loved learning more about you.

I'm so jealous of your wedding! I wanted to "elope" but my husband insisted on a big wedding with lots of family members! And I am so with you on the drinking and driving thing. So senseless. Glad you made it out okay.

I love reading all of these! I really need to join this party! Thanks for sharing about you! I too really want to go sky diving but my hubby won't go with me:( He jumped out of planes in the army and doesn't get the same thrill out of it as others do!

I love your blog. I have a similar life story by the way. And I also love to travel. I've been to Europe, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Mexico, Haiti, all over the U.S. I travel somewhere every year. This year I managed to visit Portugal. My husband and I flew to Faro. Here we booked a car on the website. We picked up the car at the airport and went to explore this beautiful city. By the way, it is very cool here, I recommend you to visit Faro.
