July Linky!!

Breaking the rules...2 posts in one day...

but it's ok, because...

1) I didn't post yesterday
and
2) it's for Farley's CURRENTLY - duh!! lol

If you read my earlier post, you know that I am LOVING that it's July!!!

But now you can add Farley's currently to the list - hehe.

Ok, to be fair, I ALWAYS want something - who doesn't??? But right now, I really could not ask for anything more....I'm good.

And yes, Tuesday we will get to see our WHOLE family - EIGHTEEN of us staying in ONE place!!! I'm so excited!!

Fish Tacos....yummmmmm....lol

Mercy Watson - seriously...CUTE!!!

They are chapter books, but short and sweet - PERFECT for 1st or 2nd graders!!

There's like 5 or 6 of them...and they are just so fun!!
Check them out.

And...

OK FARLEY!

You can go ahead and snicker at me.

I'm a rule breaker...

I don't actually have a go-to school book I read every summer...

I have a binder.

It's from a Title I class I took a few years ago taught by two UH-MAY-ZING 1st grade teachers.

I swear...they are responsible for HALF of our district's awesome reading teachers!
(can I put myself in that category!? ha!)

It's the TOOLS binder.

It's my school bible.

Need to know how to link up??

(Note - I know NOTHING about Macs, sorry!)
Tips...
1. Right click and copy her template
2. Open Power Point (or I use publisher) and insert (or paste) the image.
3. Create text-boxes and type in your answers.
4. Copy all (cntrl A) and paste into Paint
5. Save as a jpeg
6. Upload the image to your blog :)

K, now you can click on her CUTE NEW BUTTON and go link up!!

Oh, Jen:
Prayers for traveling with small children! You are so brave. I can't even travel with myself. Sometimes I cry more than the babies on the plane.

I am SO excited about the Mercy Watson books. Hubs tutors at my school and he has several "I hate to read" kiddos. Maybe they will like these! Thanks so much for the recommendation.

Have a FABULOUS time with your family!

Love the currently postings I seem to see everywhere. Thanks so much for explaining how to put them up!
Good luck on taking little children on a plane ride. I absolutely love the Mercy Watson books, though truthfully how could you go wrong with Kate DiCamillo? The books can also be read aloud to Kinders, mine absolutely adored them this year I read five of the six books in the series and they keep asking for more!

Thank you for the little tutorial on the currently posts. I am going to try mine tonight. I have a mac but I think I can figure it out (hopefully!). This is so much fun! I just stepped into the blogging world 2 weeks ago and I can't believe what I have been missing. I made a blog to try and make the experience more meaningful. I LOVE your blog and will be back often to stalk:) Thank you for the inspiration!
