Recipes, Visual Plans, and M 'n M fun!

(couldn't put & in the title...so now M&M looks weird! haha!)

I'm a DAY early - woo!!

Let me catch you up on a few pictures from the week....
(in case you don't follow me on instagram)

FIRST, I made THIS yummy in my tummy dessert....

Espresso Caramel Bars, compliments of one of my favorite girls...

Yep. LOVE me some Giada!!

Our Story Structure " board" for my 3 Little Pigs Unit...

AND, I found out I'm going to be in 2nd grade again next year - woo!! So I'm starting to get ready for next year....I know, I know. But i KNOW there are others out there like me!

(yep - cheap printer! lol!)

(Yes, I'm in the middle of Kindergarten right now, and 3rd grade is next! First grade has already been posted.)

Also, on instagram, there's a #PAD going on! Join the par-tay!

yeah - that's my door....SUPER boring....it's outside. The wind, rain, and sun KILL everything I put out there, even a name tag...so no fun door for me - boo!

My Read Aloud - I just love Roald Dahl!

Remember...click the picture of the plans (or click HERE), and it'll take you to a PDF document to download...when you download the PDF, you can click on all the pictures and links to take you where you can find all the activities (TpT, blogposts, websites, or Freebies!)

This week, I'm still doing my 3 Little Pigs Unit....The kids were having SO much fun with this, that I'm elongating it.  PLUS, I'm going to be doing a book-writing with my class this week....BUT, I just don't know how I want to go about doing it...which is why it looks blank in my writing block. lol. I know WHAT I want to do, but I don't know HOW I want to go about doing it yet - I mean I have an idea...but it's a new idea, so I want to try it out before I share it with y'all. But I'll be adding it to my pack when I'm finished with it - so make sure you grab it now, before I add more to it!!

Check out the books we've been reading/using this week!

And I've posted my newest phonics pack...if you have my other ones, it's the same, just with a new skill and new theme! Click the pic to check it out

And fore Math....I'm summing up our review and then testing on Tuesday. I just need to get it done and over with - blarg!!!

THEN, for the rest of the week, we're going to be having fun with M&MS!

I was "making pretty" the m&m activities I've always done (it's amazing how you can't look at anything pre-clipart/creating days and NOT want to redo it anymore...lol!)
...and since my hubs was at an auction, and I was home with the girls...I felt like it was the best time to catch up on a few shows while creating! (any other Psych fans!?)...And I finished it and it turned into this.....

(Click the pics to check it out!)

Hope you didn't try to 'healthify' the recipe in any way! (One of the first things I remember from your blog was the chickpea chocolate chip cookies...I was pretty sure we could never be friends based on that!) Have most of the Giada cookbooks, too, so might give these a try.

Glad to hear you will still be in second grade next year! Keep an eye on your mailbox...

Caramel Espresso Bars...Yum! They sound divine. I might have to try them out. I have heard rumors that my school might loop next year. If so, that means 2nd grade for me too. I just wish Mr. Principal Pants would announce it already!

Those caramel bars look mandatory.

Lucky you finding out what you're teaching next year! We don't find out until the end of June (mind you, our last day of school is 5th of July!). I totally would do the same thing though - getting resources ready for the next year!
