Mardel to the Rescue!

I wanted to share with you some great protectors I came across!!

You know I like to laminate my response sheets or use page protector sleeves so that I don't have to make copies for the WHOLE class when we do centers.  Not everything can be used in protectors, but you know...I like to do my part to save a tree!

Let's get real...lol. The school watches our copy numbers, so I try to cut corners when possible! haha!

Anyway.... Mardel has some GREAT dry erase pockets.

I just got them in the mail the other day and I couldn't wait to try them out! So I had "A" model them for you.

The material used on these are thicker than regular protective sleeves....and sewn together around the edges, so HOPEFULLY they won't rip/tear as easily. We'll see when I put them to the 180 day challenge when school starts - ha!! I also like how the page won't have the "crinkle" effect after a few uses...ugh! That annoys me so BAD...you know...the crinkle effect from being erased so much??

She was doing Nicole's Alphabet Letter Search

And they wipe off SUPER easy!!

and poof! we're on to the next activity!!

I like that they are bigger than regular paper size because now the papers aren't sticking out and getting written on or when you wipe them off, the residue of the marker isn't staining the papers.

This activity A is doing is from Teeny's Beginning Morning work pack.

Please know that I didn't get paid for this post. Mardel donated the dry erase pockets so I could do an honest review of them...and honestly?? I LOVE them!!

I've seen other teacher use these and really want to use them this year! I usually just laminate my center papers but this saves on lamination. Thanks for putting the link in there!

These are the best sheet protectors! We use them so much in math!! And they wipe off better than white boards. Glad you found some!

I love using plastic sleeves but all those little "issues" you mentioned drive me absolutely bananas! These are great.

I had some of those in one of the classes I interned in. LOVED them! The teacher says they were 4 years old. Showing some wear at that point but still useable.

Hey Jen, just found your blog for the first time. I am about to actually start one. I've had one but it is just a simple little one with no links or anything. Who did your blog design? It looks like Melonheads, and your avitar at signature....anyway, I think yours is my favorite so far....
thanks CIndi

How do they compare with plastic sleeves you use with folders?
