Memory Yearbooks - getting ready for the End Of Year already!

So I just sent in the last section of our memory books to get copied. Yep... we are at the end of the year already! Crazy how that came so fast!

These memory books are something I've been playing around with throughout the year...but I think I got it how I want it!

There are "All About Me" pages for the beginning of the year and the end of the year, so you can see the difference between the 2 times of year. It's always so fun to see the changes!  Then, there are monthly writing pages, so the students can write about what they learned that month. The kids have really been having fun with this.

I've also included different versions of some of the pages...I've toggled back and forth between which ones I use each year.

There are different versions of the measurement pages too.

I just recently stocked up on coin envelopes on Amazon for our yarn measurements.  You can grab about 500 of them for pretty cheap!

You want the ones that are 2.25 inches.

They fit perfectly on the page!

Then, to end the year, for the last week/few days there are actual year book pages. I know some students get yearbooks from school, but I like these because you can personalize them, and it's so fun to see the kids' illustrations of what their friends look like.

For the "My Class" picture. I like to tape/glue in a 4x6 and print up a paper that has all the kids' names on it to glue in with the picture.

To bind them together, I use the 3/4 inch binding comb and my binding machine.

If you don't have a binding machine, I bet your school does somewhere hiding under the probably needs some dusting off, but I've found that most schools have them.  If not, then you can just hole punch the book and tie it together with some twine - that would look cute!

I've had some requests from friends in other grades, so I have a PreK, Kindergarten, and 2nd grade edition too!

Check them out in my TpT store {HERE}.

AND, there is a file in the download of editable pages! All the pages that you can glue pictures down on are editable so that you can add the pictures on the pages digitally and then print them with the picture already on them! I also like to add text boxes and type in the students' names under the class picture.  You can do whatever works best for you!

I love this idea! I will be using this for the upcoming 2015-16 year. I have one question. Is the blue backing card stock?

Patty, it's actually construction paper. We have the big papers that I cut into fourths and it's a perfect size to "frame" printer paper.
